1. What is ₮ TIPONIC?
TIPONIC is a Bitcoin-native "Appreciation Layer." It is a fungible token built using the Runes Protocol, designed to make social tipping fast, secure, and fun without leaving the Bitcoin ecosystem.
2. What is the ₮ symbol?
The "₮" is the official symbol for TIPONIC. While it is also the symbol for the Mongolian Tögrög, in the Bitcoin world, it represents the Lime Green Economy. It is the shorthand we use for sending and receiving tips.
3. Why do I need a "Taproot" address?
Runes live on Taproot (bc1p...) addresses because they are more efficient and support the complex data needed for tokens.
• Warning: If you send ₮ to an old-style address (starting with 1, 3, or bc1q), your tokens might become "lost" or invisible to your wallet.
4. How do I tip someone?
• In Telegram: Use our official @TiponicBot. Simply reply to any message with /tip 100 to send 100 ₮ to that user.
• On-Chain: Open your UniSat or Xverse wallet, select TIPONIC, and send it to any bc1p address just like Bitcoin.
5. Where can I see the price and trade?
Since ₮ is a decentralized Rune, you can trade it on:
• DotSwap.app: For instant swaps using BTC.
• Magic Eden: To buy and sell "lots" (bundles) of ₮ tokens.
• UniSat.io: For direct marketplace listings.
6. I heard about "Cenotaphs." What are they?
A Cenotaph is a "broken" Rune transaction. If you try to send Runes using a wallet that doesn't support them, the Bitcoin network might "burn" the tokens to keep the blockchain clean. Always use a Rune-compatible wallet (UniSat/Xverse/Magic Eden Wallet) to stay safe.
7. How many ₮ will there ever be?
The supply is hard-capped at 1,000,000 ₮. There is no "Mint" button, and no more can ever be created. This makes ₮ a scarce digital commodity.
